Duneside
Duneside is in Eccles on Sea, Norfolk. It's a bungalow, one of a group of five. The beach is just over the sand dunes. Literally a couple of minutes' walk.
It sleeps four but there's only one bedroom. That bedroom is set up as a double. The other two beds are in the open plan living area. It's a straightforward place. Clean. Three Star. The kitchen was redone a few years ago.
The path over the dune right outside is steep. If that's a problem, there are easier steps over the dunes about a five minute walk down the lane, towards Sea Palling. Or you can drive to the car parks at Sea Palling or Cart Gap for flat beach access.
The local village, Sea Palling, is about a mile away. It's got a shop, a pub, and a café. It also has its own independent lifeboat, which is interesting. You can see the rescue records in the church.
The beach here is quiet. You get wading birds. In the summer, there are little terns nesting, which are protected. A bit further down the coast at Horsey, the grey seals have their pups in the winter.
Stalham is six miles away for a supermarket. It's also the gateway to the Norfolk Broads if you want boat hire or fishing trips. Norwich is about a 45 minute drive. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing.
You can have up to two pets. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking on site. Bedding is included. All the facilities are on the ground floor.
