Chimney Springs

Chimney Springs is in Ormesby St Margaret. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. That can be handy. It's detached and the garden is completely yours. It's a good size, with different spots to sit in the sun or the shade.

It sleeps seven in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The living room has an electric fire. There's a second snug area with a single sofa bed that leads into the conservatory. That's where the dining table is. You can eat there and look out at the garden.

The kitchen has what you need. The village is quiet. There's a pub that does food about a seven minute walk away. A shop is roughly the same distance.

You're about a mile and three quarters from the coast. The beaches that way are sandy, like Scratby, Hemsby, and Winterton-on-Sea. They're all within a ten minute drive. Horsey beach has a seal colony you can see in the winter.

You're right on the edge of The Broads National Park. You can walk or cycle straight into it. The Weavers Way and National Cycle Route 30 are nearby. For the water, Filby Broad is close for fishing or hiring a rowing boat. If you want to explore the wider Broads, you'd drive to Wroxham, which is about half an hour away, for boat hire.

Other places within a half hour drive: Caister Castle ruins and motor museum, Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, and Norwich city centre for shopping, the castle, cathedral, and restaurants.

Facilities: it's all on the ground floor, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on site.
