Chimney Springs
Chimney Springs is a bungalow in Ormesby St Margaret. It's detached, so no shared walls. It sleeps seven, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and has everything you need.
The living room has sofas and an electric fire. There's also a small snug with a single sofa bed. You walk through that to get to the conservatory, which has a big table for meals. The conservatory looks out over the garden. The garden is enclosed. It's got different seating areas, some in sun, some in shade, and lots of flowers. It's a proper garden.
The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about a five minute walk away. The pub serves food.
You're in a quiet village, but you're close to a few things. The coast is about a mile and three quarters away. Scratby, Hemsby, and Winterton-on-Sea are all sandy beaches within a few minutes' drive. In the winter, you can see the seals at Horsey beach.
You're also right on the edge of the Norfolk Broads. Filby Broad is three miles away for fishing or hiring a rowing boat. For boat hire and trips, most people go to Wroxham, which is about a 25 minute drive. Norwich is about half an hour by car for shopping or the cathedral.
For local walks, the Weavers Way and National Cycle Route 30 are nearby. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens is about four miles away. Caister Castle and its Motor Museum are about three miles.
Facilities: it's all on one level. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a high chair if you need them. You can bring two dogs. There's parking on site.
