Bermunda Sands is a chalet bungalow on a holiday park in Hemsby, Norfolk. It's single storey, wheelchair friendly, and the entrance has no steps. You’ll have your own bit of garden with a patio.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's Wi-Fi and a TV. The park has its own shop and a clubhouse with a restaurant and bar.
The main thing is the beach. It's about a 140-yard walk from your door. It’s sandy with dunes. It's a good, award-winning beach.
If you head the other way, about a five minute walk into Hemsby itself, you've got the seafront stuff. Arcades, crazy golf, go-karts, cafes, and ice cream. It’s that classic Norfolk seaside feel.
Great Yarmouth and its Golden Mile is about ten minutes' drive south. That's where you'll find the bigger amusement arcades, the Pleasure Beach, and the SeaLife Centre. For a day out, you’ve got Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens or Bewilderwood in Horning, both within half an hour.
The Norfolk Broads start just inland. You can be on the water in under 20 minutes, easy. The Broads Authority website is good for planning boat trips or walks.
Practical stuff: bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside. No pets, I’m afraid.
It’s straightforward. You’re a few minutes from a great beach, and you’ve got all the seaside things and the Broads nearby if you want them.
