Beachview Cottage Scratby

Beachview Cottage is in Scratby. It's a mid-terraced house directly opposite the beach. The beach is sandy and dogs are allowed on it all year round. There's a concrete ramp down to the sand, which is useful.

The house sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been refurbished, so everything is clean and works. The stairs are normal house stairs. You can fit stairgates if needed.

The living room has two leather sofas and a wood burner. The kitchen is fine for cooking meals. There's a dining room to eat in. The garden at the back is enclosed, with lawn. It's private.

You can walk to the local pub, cafés, and shops. The beach is right there. For walks, you're on the coastal path network. The Norfolk Broads are a short drive away if you want to go boating or walking. Norfolk Broads Authority has all the information.

Great Yarmouth is about seven miles down the coast. It's a traditional seaside town with a pier and amusements. Further afield, Norwich is a city with a castle, shops, and museums. It's about a 40-minute drive.

In winter, you can see the seals on the beaches at Horsey and Winterton. That's a 15-20 minute drive. The National Trust Norfolk Coast page is good for that area.

Facilities: there's parking for one car on the drive. WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
