Seasong
Seasong is a converted barn in Salthouse. It's single-storey, so no stairs to worry about. It sleeps two, in one bedroom.
It's on an unmade lane. The beach is about a ten minute walk away. You turn right out of the lane, walk past the church, and you're there. It's shingle, with the salt marshes behind it. If you're a birdwatcher, the RSPB reserve is right there.
The barn has been done up. There are exposed beams and a wood burning stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. The wet room shower is on the ground floor. It’s warm and dry, which is good after a windy beach walk.
There's a small walled garden out the back. It's enclosed. You can sit out there and look towards the heath and the church.
The village shop is about half a mile. It's good. There's also a pub about the same distance. It does food and has views over the marsh. They get busy.
Blakeney is two miles away. You can get boat trips out to see the seals from there. Holt is four miles. It's a nice town for shops and cafes. Wells-next-the-Sea is about ten miles. The beach there has the famous beach huts and pine woods.
