This is Hollyhock Cottage in Blakeney. It's one of a little terrace of cottages we look after, about five minutes down to the harbour.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-kept. It's terraced, so you'll hear the neighbours occasionally, but it's generally quiet.
There's a little patio outside the back. Inside, it's open plan downstairs with a woodburning stove. It's got everything you'd need: wifi, TV, washing machine, and all the bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
The village shop and a restaurant are a few hundred yards away, and there's a decent pub even closer. The path to the salt marshes and the harbour is just down the lane. People do go crabbing off the quay.
If you drive west, you've got Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea within about twenty minutes. East is Sheringham and Cromer, which is a bit further but under half an hour. The whole coast is good for walking and birdwatching. The Norfolk Coast Path runs right through.
For planning days out, these are the main sites: National Trust Norfolk Coast and Norfolk Coast AONB.
