Forge Cottage
Forge Cottage is in the middle of Stiffkey village. It's one of two cottages next to each other in the same garden. Most of the garden is yours. It's south facing, with a few fruit trees, and you look out over fields.
It's a two bedroom cottage and sleeps four. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The beams are low in a couple of places, just so you know.
The garden is fully enclosed. There's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, and parking right by the cottage.
The village shop is about fifty yards away. The pub's a few minutes walk. It serves decent food.You're about a ten minute walk from the saltmarshes and the coastal path. It's a very good area for birdwatching. The seals are at Blakeney Point, which is a drive and then a walk or a boat trip. Holkham beach and Wells-next-the-sea are a short drive away.
Holkham Hall is nearby. The North Norfolk Railway steam trains run from Sheringham. Sandringham House is about half an hour's drive.
The cottage accepts one well-behaved dog. Bedding is included. There's a highchair and a stairgate if you need them.
