Forge Cottage
Forge Cottage is in Stiffkey. It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
It's about ten minutes' walk to the saltmarshes and creeks from here. The beach at Wells-next-the-Sea is a short drive. It's a good spot if you like birdwatching or just walking. The whole area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The stairs inside are fairly steep, just so you know. There's a woodburner for colder nights. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing a dog. You can bring one dog, by the way.
In the village, there's a shop about fifty yards away. The pub is about three hundred yards. It serves food. Blakeney is a couple of miles along the coast if you want to go out on a boat to see the seals.
If you're driving out, Holkham Hall is close by. The National Trust at Holkham has the beach and the pine woods. Sandringham is about half an hour away. There are a few steam railways within a thirty minute drive, like the Poppy Line.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding is included. There's a highchair and a stairgate if you need them.
This cottage is one of a pair. They can be connected together through a door if you're coming with a bigger group.
