Fisherman's Cottage is on the quay in Wells. It's about twenty-five yards from the water. It's tall and narrow, like most of them are there.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, but both have their own bathroom attached. There's a third toilet downstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. The stairs are quite steep.
You're right in the middle of things. The harbour's there, with the shops and the chip shops and the famous whelk stall. The little train that goes to the beach starts just over the road. The beach is a mile away, but it's a very long, sandy one. You can walk it if you don't fancy the train.
Holkham Hall is about ten minutes by car. It's a big estate with a beach and woods. You can see the seals at Blakeney Point, the boat trips leave from Morston which is a short drive.
The facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Parking is on site, which is useful in Wells. All bedding is included. We have a cot. No pets, I'm afraid.
For planning days out, these sites are good: National Trust Norfolk and Visit Norfolk.
