Coastguard's Cottage
Coastguard's Cottage is in Burnham Overy Staithe. It's a four bedroom house, sleeps six, with two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is comfortable and looked after.
You're about a mile from the beach. There's a pub that does food about a hundred yards away. A shop is a mile and a half.
The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you're bringing dogs. We take up to two. There's parking on site.
Inside, there's a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. There are two wood burning stoves, one in the living room and one in the dining room. They're nice in the cooler months. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
For the beach, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are a short drive east. The coast path is right there for walks. Blakeney is good for crabbing and boat trips to see the seals.
If you want a day out, Sandringham Estate is about twenty minutes by car. Holkham Hall is very close. The North Norfolk Railway runs from Sheringham.
