This is Downlands, in Burnham Market. It’s a detached house on a quiet street. You're about a minute's walk from the high street with all the shops and pubs, but it feels private.
It sleeps six. Three double bedrooms and one main bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well-kept. The garden is mature and enclosed, with a patio area and a barbecue. There's parking on the drive.
The front door is level and the downstairs is all on one level, which helps if you have mobility issues. There’s a wood burner in the living room. It’s got a dishwasher and washing machine, and bedding and towels are included.
You can have up to two dogs. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them.
Burnham Market is a nice village. Good for food shops, cafes, and a few places to eat. For the beach, Wells-next-the-Sea is about a ten minute drive. The beach there is sandy with the row of colourful huts. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast there.
From Wells, you can drive along the coast. Blakeney is good for a walk out to the point. Holkham Hall is nearby. If you head west, you've got Hunstanton and its Sea Life centre.
The whole north Norfolk coast is good for walking and birdwatching. The North Norfolk Coast National Landscape site has maps and information. For history, you've got Sandringham or King's Lynn within a half hour drive.
