The Oyster Catcher is in Docking, a quiet village about four miles from the coast. It's a three-bedroom cottage that sleeps six. There's one bathroom.
It's been done up and it's light inside. Downstairs there's a decent sized living room that leads out to the garden. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. The kitchen is roomy, with a table.
Upstairs, two of the bedrooms have zip and link beds. That means you can have them as super king size beds or as twins. Useful if you're two couples or a family. The stairs are fine, but they are a bit steep at the top, just so you know.
The house has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. You get bedding and towels included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars on the drive.
In the village, about a five-minute walk away, there's a shop, a pub that does food, and a fish and chip shop. They're all perfectly fine.
You're four miles from the beach. Brancaster and Holkham are both a short drive and have those big sandy beaches Norfolk is known for. Titchwell RSPB is very close if you like birdwatching. You can walk or cycle straight out from the cottage onto the local lanes.
Brancaster has a golf course. Burnham Market and Wells-next-the-Sea are about a fifteen-minute drive for a look around the shops. Hunstanton is about five miles away if you want a traditional seaside day out, with a Sea Life centre and amusements.
For a bigger day trip, Norwich is under an hour's drive. It has the cathedral, a castle, shopping, that sort of thing.
You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a highchair if you need one.
