Half Penny Cottage
Half Penny Cottage is in Docking, Norfolk. It sleeps eight, so it's a good size. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, which helps when there's a few of you. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's a detached cottage, so you've got it to yourselves. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. Speaking of, we can take up to two pets. It's an old cottage, over two hundred years, so the stairs are a bit steep and there are low beams in places. There's an open fire in the living room.
The village is quiet. There's a shop about three quarters of a mile away. The nearest pub and restaurant is a mile.
For the coast, Brancaster beach is about four miles. It's a good beach. The stretch from Wells-next-the-Sea along to Hunstanton has lots of different bits, beaches and marshes. You can walk or cycle a lot of it. Hunstanton has the usual seaside things if you want that.
If you're here for the big houses, Sandringham is close. So are Holkham Hall and Blickling Hall. Norwich is about an hour's drive if you fancy a city day.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. There's a BBQ and bicycle storage.
