White House Farm is a big old farmhouse out near Fring in Norfolk. It's detached, so nobody's next door. You get the place to yourselves with the garden and fields all around.
It sleeps thirteen people. Six bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up nicely but it's still a farmhouse, so it's comfortable and practical, not showy.
The main thing is the space. There's a decent sized garden that's fully enclosed. There's a tennis court and an outdoor swimming pool you can use. There's also a games room, which is handy if the weather turns.
You're about six miles from the sea at Hunstanton. The coast here is really good for beaches and walking. Brancaster, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are all within a half hour drive for a proper beach day.
The village itself is quiet. The nearest shop and pub are about three miles away in Docking. For a bigger choice, Burnham Market is about fifteen minutes by car. It's got nice shops and places to eat.
If you like walking, the Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coast Path are nearby. For birdwatching, the marshes and dunes along the coast are excellent.
A lot of the big country houses are within easy reach. Sandringham House is about twenty minutes away. Holkham Hall and Houghton Hall are also within a half hour drive.
Facilities: it's got everything you'd need for a big group. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's plenty of parking. You can bring up to three dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
