White House Farm
White House Farm is in the village of Fring, about a six mile drive from the coast at Hunstanton.
It sleeps thirteen. Six bedrooms, four bathrooms. It’s a big detached farmhouse with its own grounds, so there’s space. It has a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable but not pristine. It’s a farmhouse.
The garden is large and enclosed. There’s an outdoor swimming pool you can use in the warmer months. There’s a tennis court and a games room in an outbuilding. The views are just fields in every direction.
You can bring up to three dogs. They’ll like the garden.
The facilities are what you’d expect for a group that size. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them.
For shops and pubs, you’ll need to drive. Burnham Market is the closest proper village, about three miles. They’ve got butchers, bakers, a few places to eat.
The North Norfolk coast is about a twenty minute drive. Good beaches at Brancaster, Holkham, and Wells-next-the-Sea. Hunstanton is more of a traditional seaside town if you want amusements.
If you like walking, the Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coastal Path are close by. For birdwatching, the marshes and dunes along the coast are good.
Plenty of big houses and gardens nearby if that’s your thing. Sandringham House, Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall are all within a thirty minute drive.
