Ringstead Cottage is on Chalk Avenue in the village of Ringstead. It's one of a small group of cottages, all built in the same style. It's set back from the road a bit, which makes it quiet.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms, and there's one bathroom with a shower. The garden is enclosed and lawned, with a playhouse for kids. There's a picnic bench for eating outside.
The stairs are standard. The cottage has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable, well equipped, and modern.
You can walk to the village shop for basics in a couple of minutes. The pub is a minute or so further. It's a proper village pub and they do food. For a day at the beach, you drive five minutes to Holme-next-the-Sea. It's a fine sandy beach.
Within about 15 minutes you have Hunstanton, which is the seaside town with more shops and things like the Sea Life centre. It's about six miles. Heacham is similar, a bit closer. Sandringham House is about a twenty minute drive inland.
The RSPB reserve at Snettisham is nearby too, for birdwatching. There are walks from the doorstep and the quiet lanes around here are good for cycling. You can find details of local trails on the National Trails site.
Facilities wise: it's got everything you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, cot, highchair, stairgate. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the drive. You can bring one dog.
