Bluebell Cottage
Bluebell Cottage is in Docking, which is about fifteen or twenty minutes' drive inland from the north Norfolk coast.
It's a semi-detached cottage, brick and flint on the outside. Sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which is good. Just means it's comfortable and modern inside. The main thing inside is it's open plan, so the kitchen, dining and living area are all in one room.
The garden is enclosed and it's all yours. There's a woodburning stove, which works well. Parking is off-road and right there.
The village has a shop and a pub just under a mile away. For the coast, you're looking at Brancaster or Holkham, which are about four or five miles. Brancaster's got sailing and a good pub on the beach. Holkham beach is sand and it's massive.
Wells-next-the-Sea is about seven miles. It's got the harbour and the famous beach huts. Burnham Market is a bit closer, maybe fifteen minutes by car.
If you're into birdwatching, it's a good spot. You've got Titchwell Marsh and Holkham National Nature Reserve both within fifteen minutes' drive.
A couple of useful links if you're planning: National Trust Norfolk and Visit Norfolk. They have maps and ideas for days out.
Practical stuff: wifi, TV, washing machine, highchair, bedding and towels are all included. You can bring up to two dogs.
