This is Lavender Cottage. It’s in Docking, Norfolk. A semi-detached brick and flint place, sleeps four in two bedrooms. There’s one bathroom.
It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable, clean, and warm. Open plan living space downstairs. The garden is enclosed so it’s fine for a dog. We take one pet.
It’s about four miles from the north Norfolk coast. Brancaster beach is that way, good for sand and sailing. The village shop and pub are about three-quarters of a mile up the road. They’re fine for basics and a pint.
If you’re walking or cycling, you can go straight from the door. There’s a network of quiet lanes. For birdwatching, the marshes and reserves are all close by. The National Trust has loads of information on the area. Wells-next-the-Sea and Burnham Market are a short drive away for a look around and some shops.
Hunstanton is about six miles if you want a traditional seaside day out. They’ve got a Sea Life Centre and a funfair. Norwich is roughly an hour’s drive for a bigger city day.
Facilities are straightforward. There's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and a highchair if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site.
