Cherry Ridge is in Great Bircham, on the edge of the village. It's a big detached house that sleeps ten. There are five bedrooms and five bathrooms, so it's good for a group where everyone wants their own space.
The main thing is the swimming pool. It's indoors and heated, and it's just for the house. You get it to yourselves. There's a games barn next to the house with table tennis and table football.
It's got a five star rating. That means it's well-finished. Things like bathrobes are included. It's meant to feel a bit more like a treat.
A few things to note plainly: some of the stairs are open tread or a bit narrow. The garden is landscaped and looks out over fields.
In the village, there's a shop, a post office, and a pub about a quarter of a mile away. The Bircham Windmill is here too. They've got a bakery, a tea room, and you can feed the animals.
The north Norfolk coast is about eight miles away. That's where you'll find the big beaches and walking paths. Hunstanton is the main town there, with a sea life centre and a traditional seafront. Brancaster beach is good for sailing. The RSPB reserve at Titchwell is close by if you like birdwatching.
You're within half an hour of places like Sandringham, the Holkham Estate, and the ruins at Castle Acre. National Trust Norfolk has details on a lot of the local spots.
For facilities, it's got pretty much everything: parking, wifi, a dishwasher, washing machine, BBQ. They provide bedding and towels. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. No pets.
