Allawah House

Allawah House is in Sedgeford. It's a detached house on a quiet road, so it's peaceful. You won't get passing traffic.

It sleeps seven, in four bedrooms. Two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is bright, and the furniture is decent. The garden faces south, so you get the sun. There's an electric sunshade over the patio. There's a sun room too, which is a nice spot.

The stairs are fine, all on one level inside once you're up. There's a step down into the sun room. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.

There's a pub that does food about 200 yards away. It's a proper village pub. The shop is in Heacham, about three miles.

The coast is a short drive. Old Hunstanton beach is about four miles. It's a good sandy beach. The National Trust at Holkham is about a 20 minute drive, and Wells-next-the-Sea is similar. You can walk from Wells along the pinewoods to the beach huts. Brancaster beach is also close.

For birdwatching, Titchwell RSPB reserve is 15 minutes away. Norfolk Wildlife Trust has reserves at Cley and Blakeney too.

Sandringham Estate is a 15 minute drive. You can walk in the grounds. King's Lynn, with the historic quarter, is under half an hour.

You can bring two dogs. There's an enclosed garden. The facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, bike storage, and parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
