Allawah House is in Sedgeford, which is inland by about four miles. It's a detached house on a quiet close, so there's no through traffic. The garden is south-facing and gets the sun.
It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, plus a loo downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It means it's well equipped and comfortable.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a sunroom off the back. The garden has a patio and an electric awning for shade. It's fully enclosed, which is handy with dogs or kids.
You can walk to the local pub and restaurant, it's about 200 yards. The nearest shop is in Heacham, three miles away. The coast at Hunstanton is about four miles. It's a typical seaside town with a beach, a sealife centre, and seal boat trips sometimes.
If you drive east along the coast road, you'll get to places like Brancaster and Wells-next-the-Sea. Wells has the beach huts and you can get the little train from the quay to the sand. Blakeney is good for crabbing. Holkham beach is huge.
For birdwatching, the RSPB reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham are close. Snettisham also does deer safaris. Sandringham is about a twenty minute drive. It's good for a walk in the woods even if the house isn't open.
Facilities stuff: it's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, there's on-site parking, and an electric vehicle charger. We have a cot, highchair, and stairgate. Bedding and towels are included. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. We accept up to two dogs.
