The Barn
The Barn is in Old Hunstanton, about a five minute walk from the beach. It's a converted barn, obviously, set back from the road in its own garden.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after. It's all on one level inside, which is good, and the doors are wide enough for a wheelchair to get through. The garden is enclosed.
You can walk to the beach. Old Hunstanton beach is sandy and quieter than the main town beach. The cliffs there are striped, which is a bit different. There's a good local pub a short walk away too.
Hunstanton town is about a mile along the coast. It has the usual seaside things: a sealife centre, amusements, boat trips in season. For a bigger beach with pine trees, Wells-next-the-Sea is about half an hour's drive. The north Norfolk coast path is right there if you want to walk.
If you like birdwatching, RSPB Snettisham is close by. For big stately homes, Sandringham is the Queen's place and it's about a fifteen minute drive. Holkham Hall and Houghton Hall are also within half an hour.
Facilities wise: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a woodburning stove. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ in the garden. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
