The Old Paybarn is an old converted barn on the edge of a deer park just outside Snettisham. It's peaceful, with just fields and horses around you. It sleeps five.
There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is downstairs and has its own shower room. Upstairs there's a family room with three single beds and another bathroom. The stairs are steep and narrow, like in a lot of old barns, but there's a handrail.
The living area is big, with plenty of room for everyone to sit. There's a wood burner, but you need to provide your own logs. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog.
Snettisham village is about a mile away. There's a shop and a decent pub there. The beach is about two miles from the village. It's a huge stretch of sand and shingle. The RSPB reserve at Snettisham is at the south end of the beach. You can go in the bird hides even if you're not a member.
For a day out, Hunstanton is ten minutes up the coast. It's a traditional seaside town. Sandringham is fifteen minutes away by car. The walks from here are good, especially if you have a dog. There are paths straight from the barn onto the Peddars Way.
Facilities include WiFi, TV, parking for two cars, and bed linen and towels. You can bring one well-behaved dog. The barn has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
