Trentham Cottage is in Snettisham, Norfolk. It's a semi-detached, Grade II listed cottage, so the walls are nice and thick. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after, not just a basic shell.
You get a private, enclosed patio garden. It's a good spot for a BBQ if the weather's decent.
The village is quiet. There's a village shop about 100 yards away, and a pub and a restaurant about 150 yards. They're both fine. The beach is about a mile. It's a shingle beach, very natural. Good for long walks and sunsets.
If you want a busier beach, Hunstanton is a few miles along the coast. They've got the usual seafront things there. For a nicer seaside town, Wells-next-the-Sea is about a 20-minute drive. It's got a good quay and the narrow-gauge railway.
The area is very good for birdwatching. RSPB Snettisham and RSPB Titchwell are both very close. Holkham is also nearby. For stately homes, you've got Sandringham House and Holkham Hall within about half an hour.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs. The stairs themselves are fine, but they are cottage stairs, so they turn a corner and are a bit steeper at the top. Parking is on site for one car. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
