Chestney House
The front of the house is raised up from the pavement, so you’re not right on the street. You get a sea view from several of the rooms. It was built in the 1800s and has the kind of stairs and layout you’d expect from that.
There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating. We include all bedding and towels. There’s a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There’s parking for one car on the gravel drive. If you have more cars, there’s a public car park about two minutes’ walk away.
The beach is a five minute walk. All the shops, pubs, and restaurants in Hunstanton are on your doorstep. You really don’t need the car for most things.
If you do drive, you’ve got a lot to choose from. The beach at Holkham is about 25 minutes away. Wells-next-the-Sea is similar, with its harbour and the narrow-gauge railway to the beach. Sandringham Estate is a 20 minute drive. Old King's Lynn, which has a lot of history, is about half an hour.
