Sweet Pea Cottage is in Heacham, on the north west Norfolk coast. It's semi-detached and looks onto a quiet side street. The location is good because it's a five minute walk from the beach, but you're not right on the front where it can get busy.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well looked after and comfortable. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing a dog or have kids. There's parking for one car off the road.
The living space is all on one floor, which some people prefer. You've got a washing machine, wifi, and TV. Bedding is included, and we can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
You can walk to the local shop in about a minute. There are a couple of pubs and places to eat about ten minutes walk away in the village centre.
Heacham beach is sandy and long. It's good for walking the dog or a quiet paddle. For a bigger seaside day out, Hunstanton is about three miles up the coast. That's where you'll find the Sea Life Centre, a fairground in season, and more of a traditional resort feel.
Within half an hour you can get to some lovely spots. Wells-next-the-Sea has a great harbour and the beach with the famous beach huts. Holkham Hall and beach are beautiful. For history, King's Lynn has a lot to see and is about a fifteen minute drive. The National Trust Norfolk Coast page is good for planning walks and visits.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's no extra charge, we just ask that they stay off the furniture and you clean up after them.
