Pump Cottage is in Brancaster Staithe. It's a detached brick and flint house, so you're not sharing walls with anyone. It's got its own drive for parking.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a wood burner for the winter. Wifi, TV, washing machine, all that. Bedding and towels are included.
You're allowed one dog. The back garden is enclosed, mostly gravel and paving.
The location is the main thing. You're a few minutes' walk from the harbour and the creeks. The Jolly Sailors pub is very close, just up the road. They do good food. Brancaster beach is about a mile away, maybe a five minute drive. It's a big, sandy beach. You can walk there along the coast path if you want.
Within half an hour you can get to Holkham, Burnham Market, or Thornham. Sandringham is about twenty minutes by car. For a longer walk, the National Trust Brancaster estate is right there. The Norfolk Coast National Landscape website has maps and ideas.
It's a straightforward house in a good spot. If you want to be near the water and have a proper base, it works.
