Vista Cottage
Vista Cottage is my place in Brancaster Staithe. It's the one on the left. You share the big garden with the cottage next door, Dale View, but you get your own summerhouse out there. The view from the garden and the living room is the main thing. It's just straight out over the salt marshes to the sea and Scolt Head Island.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's an old cottage, so the stairs are the original ones. They wind round a bit and are steep in places.
There's a village shop, a pub, and a fresh fish shop all about five minutes walk away. The local harbour has a sailing club. The beach at Brancaster is about three miles by road, but you can walk out onto the marshes from the garden if you want to explore that way.
For a day out, Burnham Market is three miles. It has nice shops and places to eat. The RSPB reserve at Titchwell is close by, famous for birdwatching. Hunstanton is about eight miles if you want a classic seaside town with a funfair. The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club is just down the road in Brancaster itself.
In the house you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, and a woodburning stove. WiFi, TV, all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. Parking is on site. I live next door if you need anything or want tips about the area.
You can bring up to two dogs. And if you're a big group, you can book Vista Cottage together with Dale View next door to sleep twelve.
