Little Dab is a bungalow in Brancaster Staithe. It's a modern bungalow, detached. It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin. Two bathrooms, both with showers and one with a separate bath too. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main living space is all open plan, kitchen, dining and sitting area. There's a wood burner in the middle of it. The kitchen has an island with stools. We find it's a sociable layout. There's a separate utility room with the washing machine.
Outside, there's a private garden with a patio. It's enclosed, but if you have a dog that's a real escape artist, you'd want to keep an eye on them. We do allow two well-behaved dogs.
You're right on the edge of the salt marshes here. It's very flat, so it's great for walking and cycling. The beach at Brancaster is about two and a half miles away, a proper sandy beach. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast here.
The local pub, The Jolly Sailor, is about 200 metres away. They do good food. There's a shop in the village for basics. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Burnham Market, which is about three miles. It's got a lot of nice independent shops and places to eat.
If you play golf, the Royal West Norfolk course is just down the road at Brancaster. It's links golf, right by the sea. Hunstanton is about eight miles if you want arcades and a funfair. The whole north Norfolk coast is good for birdwatching. Norfolk Wildlife Trust has several reserves nearby, like Holme Dunes.
