Crow's Nest is on the quay in Wells. It's semi-detached. We renovated it a few years ago, so it's got a new kitchen, new heating, things like that. It sleeps ten, which is good for a big family or a couple of families together. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. You get parking, which is useful in Wells. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for kids and dogs.
The stairs are fine. There's a cellar with a projector screen and sound system for films. It's connected to the internet so you can use your streaming accounts.
The beach is about a hundred yards away. It's a big sandy beach with pine woods and those coloured beach huts. You can walk it or get the little train. The quay is right opposite the house. People fish and catch crabs off it. You can book boat trips to see the seals from there.
There's a shop, a pub, and restaurants all within a minute's walk. The town has the usual seaside shops and some nicer boutiques.
If you drive, Holkham Hall is about ten minutes away. The beach there is famous. Blakeney is twenty minutes for more seals and boats. Norwich is about 45 minutes if you want a city day.
For facilities: there's a wood burner, a dishwasher, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. We allow up to three well-behaved dogs.
