The Coach House

The Coach House is in Great Ryburgh, Norfolk. It's a detached house, the old coach house for the big hall next door. It's quiet and private.

The house sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's spacious and well looked after. The layout is open plan downstairs.

There's a village shop about fifty yards away. A pub that does food is a little further, maybe a ten minute walk. The local butchers is good if you're cooking.

For the coast, Wells-next-the-Sea is about twenty minutes by car. It's got the famous beach with the beach huts and you can walk out to the sea. Holkham beach is just along from there.

Pensthorpe Natural Park is very close. It's a wildlife and gardens place, good for a gentle day out. If you're coming in winter, the Thursford Christmas show is nearby but you need to book that way in advance.

Fakenham is four miles for bigger supermarkets and a cinema. Norwich is about forty minutes if you want a city day, the castle and the lanes there are good.

The house has a fully enclosed garden, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We take two pets. There's parking right there. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and the bedding and towels are included.
