The Ryeland Retreat
The Ryeland Retreat is a shepherd's hut on a bit of land by Godwick Hall. It's for two people. One room, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well put together and comfortable.
The hut itself has a double bed, a little wood burner, and hot running water. There's a small fridge, a microwave, and a toilet with a shower. The floor is oak. It's a nice, compact space.
You can order breakfast to be brought to the hut in the morning. You can also add things like a bottle of Prosecco for the fridge, or hire a barbecue. Things like bedding and towels are included.
There are two other huts on the same bit of land. They're called the Norfolk Horn and the Herdwick. You can book them together if you're coming with more people.
For getting out, the north Norfolk coast is about half an hour's drive. Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham Beach are up there. You can get the train from King's Lynn if you need to, that's about twenty minutes away by car.
