Moorings House

Moorings House is in St Olaves, right on the river in the Norfolk Broads. It's detached and all on one level. You get to it by going down a rough track that's part of a working boatyard. I should mention that, so you know what to expect.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main thing is the view. There are big windows and a private deck, so you can sit and watch the boats go by.

The stairs being steep isn't a problem here, because there aren't any. Everything's on the ground floor.

There's a pub about a hundred yards away. They do food. The coast is about eight miles east, so you can get to beaches fairly easily.

If you're into boats, you can hire them from places like Wroxham or Beccles. For birdwatching, there are a lot of nature reserves nearby. Cley Marshes and Minsmere are good ones. Fishing is available locally too.

As for what's there: it has a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. You can bring up to two dogs.
