Heron Lodge

Heron Lodge is in Hopton on Sea, Norfolk. It's a detached lodge, so you're on your own without neighbours attached. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is decent. It's clean and everything works. It's not huge, but it's comfortable.

The place is open plan downstairs. Kitchen, living area, all one space. Outside there's a patio with a garden area. It's enclosed, so it's safe for kids if you have them. We provide a cot and a highchair.

You've got parking right outside. There's WiFi and a TV, bedding and towels are included, and there's a washing machine.

The beach is about a five minute drive away. It's sandy. In the village, about 400 yards walk, there's a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and some places to eat. They're fine for what you need.

Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth are about five miles in either direction. They've got the usual seaside stuff. Pleasurewood Hills theme park is nearby if that's your thing.

Further out, you can get to Norwich city centre in about 45 minutes. Good for a day out shopping or seeing the cathedral. The Norfolk Broads are also within half an hour for a boat trip.

No pets allowed, I'm afraid.
