Turnstone House is our place in Gorleston. It's an end-of-terrace Victorian house, so the walls are solid but the floors aren't all perfectly level. It's nothing dramatic, you just notice it.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms upstairs. One's a twin, one has bunk beds, and the master has a king-size. There are two bathrooms, one is a wet room downstairs which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The sun room at the back is the best spot. It gets the light all day. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids. You can park right outside.
You're about a three minute walk from the beach. It's a proper sandy beach, with a promenade and gardens. The high street, with shops and a few pubs, is just round the corner.
Great Yarmouth is a short drive north if you want the arcades and the Pleasure Beach. Heading south, you can get to the Broads quite quickly. Norfolk Broads has information on boat hire and trips. For seals, you'd drive up to Horsey Gap, which is about half an hour away.
Norwich is about twenty-five minutes by car. The cathedral and the castle market are worth a visit. Visit Norwich has the details.
In the house there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog.
