Smile 'N' Wave is on a street a couple of minutes back from the beach in Gorleston. It's an end-of-terrace house. You can see the sea from the front upstairs bedroom. The beach is sandy and they've won awards for it. Dogs are allowed on there all year, which is handy.
The house sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It was done up a couple of years ago so it's in good order. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are worth mentioning: they're steep and a bit narrow. Just so you know.
You're right by everything. The promenade, the Pavilion Theatre, a few cafes and a pub are just down the road. The pub does food. There's an enclosed courtyard garden out the back with a bit of seating.
In Gorleston itself, there's a supermarket and the usual shops a mile away. For the classic seaside stuff, Great Yarmouth is next door. That's where the amusements, Sea Life, and the circus are.
If you want to get out, Norwich is about 35 minutes' drive. Good for a day of shopping or seeing the cathedral. Heading south into Suffolk, you've got Southwold and Aldeburgh, which are nice for a wander. The Broads are close by too if you fancy being on the water. You can hire boats locally.
What's here: WiFi, a washing machine, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need one. You can bring two dogs. There's parking, but it's on-street.
