Smile 'N' Wave
Smile 'N' Wave is in Gorleston on Sea. It's an end of terrace house, so you've got neighbours on one side. It's about five minutes from the beach. You can see the sea from the top floor front bedroom.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a four star rating, which is right. It was done up a few years ago and it's comfortable. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You get an enclosed courtyard garden out the back.
The beach is sandy. Dogs can go on it all year. There's a big promenade, a theatre, and a few cafés and places to eat very close by. The nearest pub is practically next door.
Gorleston itself is a proper small town. There's a supermarket and shops about a mile away. The local golf club is close. If you want more of a traditional seaside day out, Great Yarmouth is just over the river. They have the amusements and the Pleasure Beach there.
For a day out, Norwich is about thirty-five minutes by car. It's good for shopping and has the cathedral and castle. Heading south into Suffolk, you've got Southwold and Aldeburgh within an hour's drive. The Broads start not far from here, at Oulton Broad. That's about a twenty minute drive.
You can bring two dogs. We have a highchair if you need one. No fireworks, sorry, because of the neighbours' pets.
