Hobland Barn
Hobland Barn is near Browston Green, in the Norfolk countryside. It's a big old place, sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, three bathrooms.
It's a converted barn from the 1700s. They've done it up to be bright and airy, with lots of windows looking out over the fields. There's a balcony upstairs you can stand on.
The layout is good for bigger groups. Four of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, which is handy. There are two separate living areas, so people can spread out. The kitchen is big, has a range cooker and doors out to the patio.
It's got a 4 Star rating. There's underfloor heating, a swimming pool in the enclosed garden, and parking on site. The wifi works. We take up to two dogs.
You're out in the fields but not far from things. The coast at Gorleston-on-Sea is about three miles. It's a nice beach. Great Yarmouth is six miles away if you want the classic seaside stuff, the pier and arcades.
The Broads are right on your doorstep for that. You can hire a boat for the day or just go for walks along the waterways. It's very flat, good for cycling.
Norwich is about a half hour drive. It's a proper city with a castle, a market, the lot. You could easily spend a day there.
The local shop is two miles, the nearest pub about three.
