Roanne

Roanne is a detached house in Gorleston on Sea. It's on a residential street, about a ten minute walk from the seafront and the beach.

The house sleeps six, across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are open tread and quite steep. There's a stairgate at the top.

The garden is fully enclosed, which is good for kids and for dogs. We allow up to two pets. There's a patio area with a BBQ, and space to store bicycles.

Inside, it's spacious. You've got a washing machine and a dishwasher. WiFi is included, as is all bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair, and parking on the drive.

Gorleston beach is lovely. It's a big sandy beach with a promenade for walking. The town has the usual shops and cafes. There's a local pub about three quarters of a mile away.

For days out, Pleasurewood Hills theme park is nearby. Oulton Broad is about half an hour's drive for boating. The city of Norwich, with the castle and cathedral, is also within half an hour.

The North Norfolk coast, like Cromer or Happisburgh, is a bit further but you can reach it in under an hour. The National Trust Norfolk Coast page is useful for planning walks.
