This is Flat 2 Beachview. It's a first-floor flat in a big Victorian building right on the seafront at Lowestoft. You get the sea views you'd expect from the name. The building is listed, so it's got some nice original features.
It sleeps six but there's just the one main bedroom. That's because the living area has two sofa beds. It works for families or a group of friends who don't mind sharing, but it's not six separate bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The flat is all on one level inside, which is handy. There are grab rails in the bathroom. The kitchen and living area are open plan.
You're right on the promenade. The beach is basically across the road. It's a sandy beach and parts of it are dog friendly all year. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about five minutes walk away. Lowestoft train station is a short walk, too.
If you want a day out, Pleasurewood Hills theme park is just outside town. Africa Alive wildlife park is nearby as well. Southwold, with its pier and beach huts, is about a twenty minute drive up the coast. The wider Suffolk heritage coastline is within easy reach, places like Aldeburgh and Dunwich. Norwich is about forty minutes away by train if you fancy a city trip.
Facilities wise, it's got a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site.
