The Granary
The Granary is a converted barn in Uggeshall. It's about three miles from the coast. You're in the countryside here, it's quiet, and you get views over the fields.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. One of those bathrooms is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfy and well-equipped, but it's also got original features. The doors are low in places, you do need to mind your head.
The space is all yours. There's a patio and garden area. It's down a track, so you can park right outside. You can fit bikes in the outbuilding if you bring them.
Inside, there's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
The nearest shop and a pub are about a mile away in the village. You'll need to drive.
Southwold is the main seaside town, about a ten minute drive. That's where the beach, lighthouse, and the Adnams brewery are. You can walk from the harbour over the footbridge to Walberswick.
Other places nearby: Dunwich beach and heath are about ten minutes away. RSPB Minsmere is a fifteen minute drive for birdwatching. Beccles is good if you want to hire a boat on the Broads. Norwich, with the castle and cathedral, is about forty minutes by car.
