The Granary
The Granary is in Uggeshall. It's a converted barn on a farm, so it's quiet. You're surrounded by fields. The owners live in the house nearby.
It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. Three bathrooms, one is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a good size for a group.
There's parking right there. The garden is yours to use and there's a barbecue. Inside, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and all the bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. The entrance and the wet room are wheelchair accessible.
It's a rural spot. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile away in the village. They're fine for the basics.
Southwold is about three miles. That's where the beach is, and the lighthouse, and the Adnams brewery. You can walk across the footbridge to Walberswick from there. Other places like Dunwich beach and Minsmere are a short drive away, maybe fifteen minutes. RSPB Minsmere is really good if you like birdwatching.
If you want to go a bit further, Norwich is about forty minutes by car. It's a city so it's got the cathedral, castle, shops, and restaurants.
There's horse riding available locally if you ask the owners. You can store bicycles here. Sometimes you can book it alongside the other barn next door if you're a bigger group.
