Stable End
This is Stable End. It's in a place called Broad Farm, which is on the edge of Halesworth. The cottage is attached to the main farmhouse on one side, but you have your own front door around the side.
It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms upstairs and a family bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's warm and comfortable. The floors downstairs are tiled and there's underfloor heating. The stairs are steep, like in a lot of old buildings.
You get your own enclosed garden. It's got a patio bit with a table and chairs, and then a lawn. There's a barbecue. You can charge an electric car.
Halesworth is a ten minute walk. There's a Co-op, a few decent pubs that do food, and some interesting little shops. The town has a cinema and a theatre.
The coast is about eight miles away. Southwold is the main one, with the beach huts and the pier. Walberswick is just over the river, good for crabbing. RSPB Minsmere is about twenty minutes drive. Aldeburgh is half an hour. Snape Maltings is about twenty five minutes, for concerts and shopping.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to three dogs.
