Wheelwrights Cottage is in Rumburgh, Suffolk. It's a one up, one down cottage attached to our house. It’s for two people. You’ll have your own separate entrance and garden at the back.
It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s recently been done up and it’s well equipped. It's one bedroom and one bathroom with a shower. The ceiling upstairs is sloped in places, so mind your head if you're tall. The staircase is original and a bit narrow. The garden gets the sun in the afternoon.
There's a pub in the village, about a five minute walk. It does food. There’s a village shop that sells local bits, but it’s seasonal and only open May to October. The nearest proper supermarket is in Halesworth, about four miles away.
You’re about 20 minutes from the coast by car. Southwold is the main one, with the pier and the lighthouse. Walberswick is just over the river. Dunwich and Minsmere are good for walks. Aldeburgh is a bit further south.
For a day out, Norwich is under an hour. The Broads are about the same.
It says pets are welcome, please bring your own beds. There's bike storage, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot or a highchair in if you need one.
