Swallows Nest is an old barn on our farm. It's detached, so you've got your own space. The barn is from the 1700s and it's next to our farmhouse, which is from a similar time.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after. The thing to know is the stairs. They're a spiral staircase and they're quite steep and narrow. It's just how the barn was built.
There's a pub about half a mile down the lane. They do food. For shops, you need to go to Bungay, which is about three miles away. That's where you'll find supermarkets and things.
You can walk from the door. The footpaths go out into the fields. St Peter's Hall and Brewery is just along the road if you're interested in that sort of thing.
For a day out, Southwold and Walberswick on the coast are within half an hour. Norwich is about the same drive the other way. There are RSPB nature reserves and fishing lakes around here too if that's your thing.
What's here: it's got a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. There's an enclosed garden and parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
