Swallows Nest
Swallows Nest is an old barn next to our house. It's detached, so you'll have your own space. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs. You can park right outside.
It sleeps four people. There are two bedrooms and both have their own bathroom. That's quite handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The walls are thick, it's quiet.
It's just outside Ilketshall St Margaret. There's a pub about half a mile down the lane. They do food. For shops, you need to go to Bungay, that's three miles away. They've got supermarkets and a few other bits.
You can walk straight from the door. The countryside here is very flat, good for cycling too. The coast at Southwold and Walberswick is about half an hour's drive. The beach is shingle, but the town is nice. There's a pier.
If you like birds, there's RSPB Minsmere not too far away. Norwich is also within reach for a day out, maybe 40 minutes if the traffic is light.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's no fuss about bringing your own things, it's all there.
