Corner Cottage is in Homersfield village, right on the River Waveney. It's a detached cottage. The garden is south-facing and fully enclosed. You can get to it from the kitchen or from the separate annexe room.
It sleeps six in total. There are three bedrooms. Two are upstairs: one super king and one king with a single day bed. The third is a double sofa bed in the annexe downstairs. There are two bathrooms. One upstairs has a shower and a roll-top bath. The annexe has a wet room.
The cottage was fully renovated in 2023. It's got a 4 Star rating. It means it's well-finished and comfortable. The kitchen has a range cooker and a wine cooler. The living room has a wood burner. There's Sky TV in the main living room and the master bedroom. The annexe has its own TV too.
There's a pub about 150 yards away, past the village green. They're dog-friendly and serve food. A café over the bridge does breakfast and lunch. For shops, Harleston is a five minute drive. They've got butchers, bakers, that sort of thing.
You can walk straight from the cottage. The historic Homersfield Bridge is just there. For something different, Captain Cook in Harleston hires out canoes and paddleboards. The coast is about half an hour's drive. Southwold is the main one, with the beach and the Adnams brewery.
Facilities: bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. On-site parking. The property accepts up to two dogs.
