Henry's Barn
Henry's Barn is on our farm here in Walpole. It's a converted barn, semi-detached, and it's on a working farm so you'll see the cows in the fields. We live on site.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, and one of them is a wet room on the ground floor. The layout is mostly open plan. It's got a 4 Star rating. The barn is from the 18th century so the doors are a bit low in some places and the stairs are steep, but everything works.
You can bring one dog.
We've got a heated indoor swimming pool you can book for private sessions, but it's only open from Easter to September. There's also a games room with an astroturf pitch for football and things like that. The garden is enclosed.
In the cottage there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate.
The village pub is about two and a half miles away. The nearest shop is three miles, in Halesworth.
Southwold is about a 20-minute drive. Aldeburgh is a bit further, maybe 35 minutes. The RSPB Minsmere reserve is about half an hour away. For walking, the Suffolk Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
