Butler's Barn
Butler's Barn is out on our farm in Darsham. It's detached, so you're not sharing a wall with anyone. It's a modern barn conversion, so it's got good insulation and isn't draughty. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and clean.
The main thing is the peace and quiet. It's at the end of a farm track, so there's no through traffic. You look out over the fields. We farm about 200 acres around it.
The beach at Dunwich is about three miles away. That's shingle, but it's a good walk. RSPB Minsmere is very close if you like birdwatching. The local pub is a mile away. There's a shop and a restaurant two miles off.
Southwold is eight miles north, Aldeburgh is about twelve miles south. Snape Maltings is in that direction too. For walking, you've got the Suffolk Coast Path and Rendlesham Forest nearby.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. There's parking right by the barn. We provide bedding and towels. We can put a cot and a highchair in if you need them, and there's a stairgate. No pets, I'm afraid.
