Sally's Nest
Sally's Nest is one of two cottages converted from old farm buildings on our land. It's just the two of you here, so it's small. The kitchen and living space are open plan.
The rating is 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and in good order. Bedding and towels are included.
It's a working farm, about 70 acres of arable fields. The cottage is detached and looks out onto them. It's very quiet. A footpath starts beside the properties if you want to walk into the farmland.
The village pub is about a mile away. There's a shop too. For a bigger shop, Halesworth is three miles. The farm shop at Bramfield is two miles.
You're about six miles from the coast. The beach at Walberswick or Southwold is sandy and takes about fifteen minutes by car. For nature, RSPB Minsmere is close. So is Dunwich Heath.
Aldeburgh is a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes. If you're interested in history, Sutton Hoo is under half an hour away.
Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed. There's a cot and a highchair if needed. We put up a Christmas tree and decorations if you're booking over the festive period. The bedroom has blackout blinds.
For walks or days out, the Visit Suffolk site is useful.
