Cravens Manor is in Sotherton, Suffolk. It's a Tudor manor house from the 16th century. It's detached and sits in about two acres of garden.
It sleeps twelve people. Six bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's on three floors, and as you'd expect, the ceilings are low in some places and the stairs are steep.
There's a big kitchen with an electric range cooker and a large dining table. There are two sitting rooms, one with a woodburning stove. The decor is modern inside but you still get all the beams and old features.
Outside, there's a lot of lawn. There's a heated outdoor swimming pool, which is usually open from May to September. There's a patio with a barbecue and plenty of parking.
The local shop and a pub are about a mile and a half away. Southwold is the main town nearby. It's got the beach, the pier, and the Adnams brewery. Dunwich Heath and the RSPB reserve at Minsmere are a short drive for walks and birdwatching. The Norfolk Broads are about half an hour north.
For facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, TVs, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a cot available. The pool is heated. Sorry, no pets.
