The Photographer's House
The Photographer's House is right in the middle of Southwold, about fifty yards from the beach. It's a terraced house, and the view from the front is of the sea. You can see it from the upstairs windows and the little terrace out the front.
It's got two bedrooms and sleeps four. One bathroom. We had it done up in 2021, so it's in good order. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are fairly typical for a house like this.
The terrace is a proper suntrap if the weather's good. You get the odd person walking past, but it's yours to use. Inside, it's got everything you'd expect: Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, that sort of thing. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to two dogs.
You're a minute's walk from the high street. There's a shop five yards away and a pub about fifty. The pier is a short walk down the front. The lighthouse is in the middle of town, you can't miss it.
If you want a day out, RSPB Minsmere is about twenty-five minutes' drive south. It's good for a walk and birdwatching. Dunwich Heath is a bit closer, maybe twenty minutes.
