The Cart Shed is near Westleton. It's a bungalow converted from an old farm building. It's on my land, so I'm about if you need anything, but it's separate so you've got your own space and a private patio.
It sleeps three, in two bedrooms. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. I can leave a cot and highchair if you need them.
The main thing here is the view. It looks straight out over fields and woods. Very quiet. You get rabbits and birds in the garden.
You're about two miles from the coast. Dunwich beach is a short drive, very wild and shingly. Walberswick has a sandy beach and dunes. Southwold, with the pier and the lighthouse, is about ten minutes north.
If you like walking, you're right on the edge of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area. RSPB Minsmere is just down the road, famous for birdwatching. Dunwich Forest is good for a sheltered walk. The National Trust looks after a lot of the heathland around here.
You've got a shop a mile away in the village. The local pub is about two miles. They do food.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. You've got a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's also a shared games room with a pool table in an outbuilding.
The facilities list says golf and fishing are nearby. There's a course about a mile away. For sea fishing, you'd go to the coast.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. The bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
