This is Carol's Cottage, over in Wenhaston. It's on a working farm, but the cottage itself is separate. You've got a bit of garden to yourself, and it's enclosed.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The whole place is on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. It's got a 4-Star rating. Everything is meant to be easy, it's clean and quite modern inside. There's space for parking right outside.
You're in the middle of fields here, really quiet. The farm is about 70 acres. There's a footpath right next to the cottage that goes off into the farmland. The village pub is about a mile away, and there's a shop too.
If you want the coast, it's about six miles to get to places like Southwold or Walberswick. Those are proper sandy beaches. RSPB Minsmere is a short drive away, that's the big bird reserve. Aldeburgh is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes in the car.
Other things nearby: there's Sutton Hoo, which is the Anglo-Saxon burial site. Framlingham Castle is about half an hour away. Dunwich Heath is also on the coast, that's National Trust.
Inside, it's all open plan. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
Because it's all one level and the doors are wide, it works if someone has mobility issues. There are grab rails in the bathrooms.
