Carol's Cottage is a bungalow on our farm here in Wenhaston. It's detached, so you're on your own, and it's all on the ground floor. It's very quiet. We're in a farming area, so you look out over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One has a shower, the other a bath with a seat and grab rail. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The place is wheelchair accessible, with ramps and wide doors. The garden is enclosed, with a patio area. It's sunny in the afternoon.
We're on a working farm, about 70 acres of arable land. There's a footpath right next to the cottage that leads out into the farmland for a walk. You'll see tractors about during the day.
The village pub is about a mile away. They do food. Halesworth is three miles for a bigger shop. There's a farm shop two miles away.
The Suffolk coast is about six miles. Southwold and Walberswick are that way, with sandy beaches. RSPB Minsmere is close by if you like birdwatching. Aldeburgh is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes by car.
If you want to go out for the day, Sutton Hoo is about half an hour's drive. So is Framlingham Castle. The National Trust at Dunwich Heath is nearby too.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
