Heath View Cottage is in Westleton. It's semi-detached, built of flint, and faces out onto the heath and fields.
It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. You should know the stairs are quite steep.
There's an enclosed garden that gets the sun. We put a summerhouse at the end with some toys in it. Kids seem to like it. You can park right outside.
You can walk straight out onto the heath from the gate. For a proper walk, Dunwich Heath is just a couple of miles away. The RSPB Minsmere reserve is about the same distance.
In the village, there's a shop and two pubs, both about a five minute walk. They serve food.
Southwold is twenty minutes by car, Aldeburgh is about the same. Leiston has a sports centre. If you want to go a bit further, Norwich is about an hour's drive.
It has a wood burner for colder nights, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding is included. No pets, I'm afraid.
