Harbour Lodge is in Walberswick. It's a detached house in the village, set back from the road. It's large, sleeps up to eleven, and is modern inside.
There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms, so it works for a few families together. One bathroom is en-suite to a bedroom above the garage. The rating is 5 Star, which just means it's well-equipped and meets the standards.
The garden is enclosed. There's a hot tub in it. The living room is a decent size for everyone to sit in.
Walberswick itself is quiet. You can walk to the local shop and a couple of pubs from the house. The beach and the harbour are about a fifteen minute walk away. Southwold is just over the river, about a mile by foot if you use the foot ferry or the Bailey Bridge. They've got more shops and the pier there. You can drive it in five minutes.
For days out, Dunwich Heath is about ten minutes down the coast. Aldeburgh is about twenty-five minutes drive. The Norfolk Broads are accessible from nearby Beccles, maybe a twenty minute drive. The Suffolk Coast & Heaths area is good for walking information.
In terms of what's here: it's got a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, and parking for a few cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
